Modern-Contemporary Electric Honeycomb Blinds
Project Details –
Livingroom – Large bespoke Apex honeycomb blinds. 4 top and 2 bottom. Hard wired in and 16-channel remote control
Kitchen – 2 sheer roller blinds and 2 fabric roller blinds, all hardwired and remote-controlled.
Stairs – Three sets of pleated Hive honeycomb roof blinds, bespoke with nylon guide wires. The blinds are hardwired into the electrics and programmed with a 5-channel remote control.
Bedrooms (Main, 1, 2, & 3) – The sheer curtain or roller blind closest to the window has blackout curtains and a matching pelmet in each bedroom.
Main entrance & Hall – 4 roller blinds in separate windows.

We were thrilled to be recommended by JHJ Contractors to one of their clients. The client recently completed a stunning three-story building overlooking the beautiful northeast coastline and installed expansive windows throughout the property to make the most of these breathtaking views.
In the large open-plan dining and living room, an impressive Apex window serves as a striking focal point. This window type—often called an arch window, gable-end, waterfall, picture, attic-style, or pitched window. The customer chose Honeycomb Blinds, specifically Hive Pleated Blinds, for a sleek and contemporary look. These pleated blinds were hard-wired for convenience (meaning no batteries are needed), with four installed in the top section and two in the bottom. We fitted Nylon Guide Wires to the top section to ensure smooth operation.
We also programmed a 16-channel remote, allowing the blinds to be precisely operated. Each Honeycomb Blind can be controlled individually or in groups—top blinds only, bottom blinds only, or all together. To complete the installation, we added a custom 100mm pelmet, carefully colour-matched to the window frames. This finishing touch tied the window treatment seamlessly into the overall design.
This window features Hive Honeycomb Pleated Blinds, which are hard-wired for convenience—no batteries required. It’s operated by a 16-channel remote, custom-programmed by us for easy control.

Electric Staircase Blind
The staircase features a magnificent large window that floods the space with natural light, beautifully framing the stunning coastal views.
The customer selected three Pleated Roof Blinds from Hive Deluxe in the colour Dove to further enhance this area. Like the others, these honeycomb-style blinds are motorised and hard-wired, with increased heat blocking and sound absorbent capabilities. Moreover, they are controlled by a 5-channel remote, which allows for either individual or simultaneous operation. Additionally, the blind frames were custom-finished in Anthracite to match the window frames, creating a cohesive and stylish look throughout the home.
